Check out this week’s featured business: Clementine’s

Clementine’s Shines

A crunchier and much tastier version of any onion ring you’ve ever tasted has found its way into many people’s lives and bellies.  Clementine’s is famous for their onion rings which are hand battered and sold on a wooden peg.  Patrons can order a six inch or a twelve inch peg stacked with some of the best onion rings you will ever find.  Last year alone they sold six miles of onion rings!

Clementine’s has food for all tastes and budgets.  Whether you are in the mood for a heaping plate of nachos, fish, steak, or a salad; you can rest assured that your food and your service will be excellent.  Clementine’s also has their very own brew, Ruppert’s Dark Ale, which you can get in bottle or draft.

Clementine’s has two locations.  The South Haven location opened in 1982 in the old Citizen’s Bank building.  It is full of antiques, wood trim, and tin ceilings.  Clementine’s Too opened on the banks of the St. Joseph River.  Patio seating and floor-to-ceiling windows allow diners to enjoy the activity on the river.  Although the atmosphere is different between the two locations; the food remains the same – GREAT!
