Abraham Lincoln spoke in Kalamazoo.

Campaigning for Republican presidential candidate John C. Fremont, Abraham Lincoln arrived in Kalamazoo for a campaign rally. Lincoln spent the night before returning to Illinois. It was his only visit to Michigan.
